The Alba Store (thealbastore.com) is operated by TRUSTGLOBAL LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New Mexico, with its business address at 5203 Juan Tabo Blvd NE, Ste 2A, Albuquerque, NM 87111, United States. In these Terms of Service, "we," "us," and "our" refer to TRUSTGLOBAL LLC, and "you" refers to any person who visits the website or places an order.
These Terms of Service govern your use of thealbastore.com and any purchase made through it, including through our checkout at pay.thealbastore.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence, to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorized to use the payment card you submit.
2. Products and Descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as possible. Our shawls are woven wool, so the texture of the weave, small slubs in the yarn, and shades of color vary slightly from one piece to the next. Product photographs are representative, and the item you receive will not be identical to the one shown. Stated dimensions are approximate.
3. Orders and Acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase the products in your cart. An order is accepted only when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment, for example where an item is unavailable, where a pricing or description error has occurred, where the delivery address cannot be served, or where we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity. If we decline or cancel an order after payment, we will refund the full amount charged to your original payment method.
4. Prices
All prices are shown and charged in United States dollars (USD). The price charged is the price displayed at checkout at the time you place your order. Shipping within the United States is free. The total shown at checkout is the final amount charged, with no added fees or taxes, and is displayed before you confirm payment. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order that has already been accepted.
5. Payment
We accept major credit and debit cards. Card payments are processed securely by our payment service providers using encrypted connections. We do not store your full card number or security code on our systems. Your card is charged once, for the total amount shown at checkout, when you place your order.
6. One-Time Purchase Only
Every purchase on The Alba Store is a one-time purchase. We do not offer subscriptions, memberships, free trials, or automatic renewals, and we never place recurring charges on your card. You will only be charged again if you choose to place a new order yourself.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We currently ship to addresses within the United States only. Orders are prepared within 1 to 2 business days, then delivered within 5 to 9 business days. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Title to and risk of loss for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier; however, we will replace or refund any parcel that is lost in transit or arrives damaged, as described in our Shipping Policy.
8. Returns and Refunds
We offer 30-day returns: you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Returns, refunds, cancellations, and damaged items are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a problem with an order, please contact our support team first at support@thealbastore.com. Most issues, including missing parcels, damaged items, and refund requests, can be resolved quickly and directly with us. Contacting us before opening a dispute with your card issuer allows us to resolve the matter promptly. This does not limit any right you have under applicable law or under your card issuer's rules. Where a dispute is opened, we may provide your card issuer with order, delivery, and communication records relevant to the transaction.
10. Product Care
Wool requires basic care. Hand wash occasionally in cold water only, do not machine wash or tumble dry, and dry flat in the air. Damage caused by failure to follow care instructions, such as shrinking or felting, is not a manufacturing defect.
11. Limited Warranty
We warrant that our products are free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. This warranty does not cover natural variations in the weave or color, normal wear, pilling from use, or damage caused by misuse, improper care, accidents, or modification. If you believe a product is defective, contact us with your order number and photographs, and we will repair, replace, or refund it at our option.
Except as expressly stated in these terms and to the extent permitted by law, our products are provided "as is," and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any order or your use of the website is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TRUSTGLOBAL LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, the name The Alba Store, and the overall design, is owned by or licensed to TRUSTGLOBAL LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other copying, reproduction, distribution, or use without our prior written consent is prohibited.
15. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to submit false or fraudulent orders, or to attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.

17. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your purchase shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of New Mexico, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your state of residence.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply only to orders placed after the updated terms are posted. The terms in effect at the time you place an order govern that order.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your purchase.
